Easy to Use

1. Turn knob counterclockwise, making a space across the body of the tool for the watch band
   
   
2. Lay the watch band across the tool, against the base (the end with the pin slot). Center the joint of the link that you’d like to remove with the pin slot.
   
   
3. Check that the arrow at the link’s joint on the underside of the band is pointing away from the turn knob and towards the pin slot.
   

*Tip: Most watch bands have tiny arrows at the link joints on the underside of the band that show the direction in which link pins can be removed and added. Only move the pins in the direction of the arrows, regardless of if you are removing or adding links.

4. Slowly turn the knob clockwise, moving the pin extractor towards the watch band link until it touches the pin hole.
   
   
5. Make sure the pin hole on the other end of the link is aligned with the pin slot on the end of the tool. (This is where the pin will be pushed out through.)
   
   
6. With the pin extractor still against the link’s pin hole, gently continue turning the knob until the link’s pin is partly pushed out through the other side of the link.
   
   
7. Carefully pull the pin out from the link joint the rest of the way, being careful not to crush or bend the pin.
   

*Tip: Make a note of which way the pin was in the link, in case you want to add the link back at a later time.

*This item is an accessory tool for watch bands with removable links. Watch and watch band are not included. Package includes tool only.
